Conjugation of fluorochromes to proteins in general is not always as easy as
some people would like to believe. One of the most experienced researchers
is dr. Mario Roederer. He has his own web-site; www.drmr.com.
At this site several great protocols to conjugate proteins (abs) can be found. Of course there are several other ways to find a good protocol. Medline
or the Journal of Immunological Methods might give an answer and
there are a lot of different companies that sell ready to use kits to conjugate
antibodies an internet search can bring the answer.
